This page describes how SMS messaging works when your hotel uses OVARA for guest communication. It is provided for transparency and carrier compliance (including Telnyx).

Consent

  • By submitting a form on our website, requesting access, or opting into guest messaging through your hotel, you agree to receive SMS messages from OVARA or the hotel using OVARA.
  • Hotels enable OVARA so guests may text the property for assistance. Guest consent is obtained through the hotel's normal check-in, signage, or messaging opt-in process as applicable.

Message frequency & charges

  • Message frequency may vary depending on guest needs and hotel operations.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

Opt out & help

  • Reply STOP to opt out of further messages.
  • Reply HELP for help.
